Will the light spook my horse?

Most horses settle within a session or two. Introduce it in a familiar space with the light on before you ride in it — let your horse see and smell the gear switched off first, then on, then walk in hand before mounting.

Which piece should I start with?

Leg bands, if you only buy one. Movement is what a driver's eye catches first. If you ride on roads after dark regularly, the Full Glow Kit covers front, rear and sides for less than buying the three separately.

Can I mix colours?

You can, but a single colour across the whole horse reads more clearly at distance. Mixed colours can look like several separate light sources rather than one animal.
